Chaplaincy
Coming alongside life’s most vulnerable is the heart of ministry for the Chaplains at Westgate Chapel, whether we are traveling across the nation to aid in disaster relief, comforting brothers and sisters in our church body, or reaching into our local community to provide practical help.
Do you have a heart to come alongside those who are hurting and vulnerable? Read more below to find out how you can get involved.

Yearly Chaplaincy Training
Yearly in October
Do you know how to respond to crisis & trauma within your family or your church or your community? Chaplaincy Training provides the educational foundation to equip Christians to respond when disaster strikes.
Once a year, the Westgate Chapel Chaplaincy Commission offers Community Service Chaplaincy Courses (Level 1 & 2), a specialized program designed to empower pastors, lay leaders, and volunteers to effectively support individuals in times of crisis. This comprehensive forty-hour training spans five days and covers essential topics like crisis response, suicide prevention, handling domestic violence situations, and the significance of ministering beyond the church walls.
Check below for registration information.

Chaplaincy Meetings
After completion of the Chaplains training, members of the Westgate Chaplains team meet together weekly. We continue to learn and work together. This is were we receive information about how we can help the congregation, disaster trips, and other needs as they arise.
