Water Baptism

Jesus commands his followers to “believe and be baptized” (John 3:5). Immersion in the waters of baptism is a joining with Christ in his death and resurrection. It is a public declaration to the family of God and the world that someone is a disciple of Jesus and a new creation in Christ.

We believe that God leads people to connect and grow within His body through local congregations. Has Westgate become your family? Are you interested in seeing what membership is all about? We will be holding a new member class on October 13 at 1:30pm in the Commons. This afternoon class processes the vision of Westgate Chapel, our history, our community values and standards, and where you fit into the vision. Registration for the class closes on October 8th. A light lunch and childcare will be provided with RSVP.
