Westgate Worship
Our heart cry is, “If Your Presence doesn’t go with us, do not send us up from here.” (Exodus 33:15)
God has called Westgate Worship to bring Him glory through song and the ushering in of His presence. Our hope is for every individual to have an encounter in worship that touches the heart and opens the eyes to the goodness of God. Each time we gather corporately, we pray the will and purposes of Heaven be done in us and in our region. For in His presence true life, joy, and freedom are found
It is in God’s presence that reverence for the Lord is learned, where conviction melts human resistance, where a hunger for God is developed, where the human heart is turned towards the Father, and where God meets with His people to do His work in our lives.
The Old Testament teaches us that singers and musicians ushered the children of Israel into the sacred worship of God (II Chronicles 20:21), as well as going ahead of the warriors as they into battle – paving the way for the Lord with worship. We believe that worship is one of the greatest tools of spiritual warfare.
“God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.” (Psalm 47:5)
“Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered; let those also who hate Him flee before Him.” (Psalm 68:1)
Today, it is our awesome responsibility, as the Worship Ministry, to lead the congregation of Westgate Chapel into the presence of the Lord through worship. This calling is primarily fulfilled in Sunday services, but also includes corporate prayer meetings, Special Worship Events and ministry outside of our church walls.
Who We Are
Sanctuary Choir & Worship Ensembles
The sanctuary choir and worship ensembles minister in Westgate’s Sunday morning services, as well as Christmas concerts, Worship Nights, and Tuesday night prayer meetings. As Levites unto the Lord, it is our privilege to partner with the pastors and leadership, ushering the congregation into the Presence of the Lord.
Band & Rhythm Section
The Westgate Worship band is comprised of keys, B3 organ, guitars, brass, and drums – all together bringing Him glory!
“Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with timbrel and dancing, praise Him with the strings and pipe, praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” –

Tech & Production
Our Tech & Production team is comprised of camera operators, lighting designers and operators, sound techs, slide and media operators. All bringing their time and creativity to the Lord, as offerings of worship!
